Blackened walls.
The grey excess.
Spiritually lost in painful death.
Dishevelled and broken.
Alone and scared.
Sinking at pace on my own, out there.
Redemption is white.
It can take many forms.
The jangle of metal it often adorns.
Voices that echo, the message so strong.
It’s worked for so many.
It couldn’t be wrong.
The light that inhabits.
Our shadows are lit.
Never alone, not for one little bit.
Stood with so many.
Entwined by our grace.
My heart starts to lighten
A smile on my face.
